Winnie Yegon is a food waste reduction specialist. Previously a program manager and food systems analyst with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations-(FAO-UN), in Nairobi Kenya, she is now supporting Sharing Solutions to diversify and scale its sustainability impact assessment approaches. She is also conducting a PhD funded by the Ireland National Bioeconomy Research Centre- BiOrbic. Her research aims to identify the impact of food sharing initiatives on food loss and waste at the national scale in Ireland.
